A 12-tonne pantech burns about 30L of diesel per 100km. That's ~2.7kg of CO₂ per litre. When we fill the empty leg, all of that carbon is already in the air whether your stuff is on the truck or not — so your slice of the trip is effectively zero additional emissions.

What is backloading, exactly?
Backloading is sharing space on a truck that's already running between two cities. The truck was making the trip whether you booked or not — you're using the empty space that would otherwise be wasted. Same truck, same drivers, same care; you just pay less because the trip cost is shared.
How long does it take?
Most metro lanes run daily or near-daily. Pickup is normally within 2–5 days of booking, and transit time is typically 1–3 days for Sydney–Melbourne or Sydney–Brisbane. Flexible-date bookings (± a week) get a 10% discount and the fastest pickup window.
What's covered by insurance?
Every move includes goods-in-transit insurance up to $20,000 at no extra cost. Premium cover up to $50,000 is available as an add-on at quote time if you need it.
Can I track my move?
Yes. You'll get SMS updates at pickup, in transit, and on delivery, plus an ETA and the driver's contact details on the day of delivery.
What if my dates change?
Just tell us. Reschedule once, free, up to 48 hours before pickup. Changes inside 48 hours may incur a small admin fee depending on the lane and load.
Do you handle stairs / heavy items / pianos?
Stairs at pickup or delivery are an add-on (+$80 each). Heavy items like pianos, pool tables, and safes are quoted case-by-case — call us on (02) 9056 2992 before booking.
